Badshah Takes Back His Statement Calling Katrik Aaryan Overrated Says, 'He Is A Brilliant Actor With A Very Good Script Sense'

It is the year of debuts for rapper and singer Badshah who earlier made his debut appearance on Karan Johar’s popular talk show Koffee With Karan and is now all set to make his acting debut in Bollywood with his upcoming film Khandani Shafakhana.

There’s certainly no doubt that all eyes are on him given his massive fan following and there’s a lot of anticipation as to how well he will do in this film. Badshah is busy promoting the film with Sonakshi Sinha and Varun Sharma and in a recent interview he addressed one of his statements from Koffee With Karan where he called Kartik Aaryan an overrated actor.

The singer has now taken back his statement and is clueless why he named Kartik when he was asked to name an actor as overrated. “I don’t know why I named him, maybe because we were talking about Kartik during the break. It just came out but the fact is that he is a brilliant actor with a very good script sense. When I told Kartik, I was acting, he joked, ‘Beta, ab tu dekh,’” Badshah told Mumbai Mirror.

Well, now that the target is on his back, it would be fun to see what Kartik would have to say about Badshah’s performance in Khanadani Shafakhana after the film releases.
