Bandish Bandits actor Ritwik Bhowmik on being a part of Ishq remake: “We were in talks”- EXCLUSIVE

It had been some months since reports of Bandish Bandits actor Ritwik Bhowmik being a part of Ishq remake started doing the rounds. It was further said that he had replaced Aamir Khan’s son Junaid to bag the part in the remake of the Malayalam film. Now, in an exclusive chat with Desimartini, the actor opened up about it.

Talking about the reports, Ritwik revealed, “, the news that had come out some time back was about the Malayalam Ishq, and the article said that I’m going to be a part of it. I have no idea where that article came out, I have no idea who spoke about it and what was happening. There was a time when we were in talks, but because there was some major data issues and I was already committed to something else, it didn't work out. And no, I'm not a part of that. But whoever it is, I really hope it does really well, because it's a very exciting story, we are very excited. The Malayalam version was beautiful, so hopefully does it really well and it comes out really really soon and you guys see who’s in it, because I am not in it.”

But there is nothing for fans to be disappointed about, since Ritwik is busy with a project already and it would be announced soon. Ritwik also teased about donning a completely different look for the project, which would be a web series and promised that the audience would see him in a new light.
