Bell Bottom: Akshay Kumar Works Double Shift, Breaks His 18 Year Old Key Rule

Akshay Kumar who is one of the most versatile actors of the Bollywood industry has again shown how benevolent he can be for the people of his fraternity. Akshay has come out as a guardian for the producers of Bell Bottom. The actor who is currently shooting within the beautiful highlands of Scotland has managed to instigate his rigorous self-discipline and work routine to the large unit of Bell Bottom – the first Bollywood movie put up the pandemic to fly a vast solid crew in a chartered aircraft to Scotland

Conscious of the time lost due to the initial 14 days of quarantine after landing in Scotland, Akshay realized the financial constraints the producers have to bear given the large size of the unit. After that, the actor decided to break his 18-year key rule of working 8 hours a day only for Pooja Entertainment's Bell Bottom - Akshay brought up the idea by recommending a double shift - it brought up, to everyone’s surprise, where two units would be simultaneously shooting to make sure that the shoot escalates on a fast pace and the producer’s money can be saved.

The unit has been shooting concurrently with the native teams in double shifts making it the initial film of its kind after lockdown - optimizing every day by packing in additional schedule into each obtainable hour. Not to forget, The Pooja entertainment team has also managed to keep the highest safety standards in mind to ensure everyone’s well-being.

Producer Jackky Bhagnani talks highly about Akshay Kumar, he says, “Akshay sir is truly a producer's actor and it has been a privilege to work with him. He is constantly thinking about everyone and everything. From safety measures for the entire unit to shooting schedules to the challenges faced by producers - the man is pure gold. Akshay sir is doing a double shift for the first time in 18 years. So when he suggested two units we were absolutely stunned and excited at the same time. And seeing his work discipline and respect for time, everyone on the sets is super energized and also pitching in their best. It's like well-oiled machinery working round the clock to make this happen.
