Bhediya: Varun Dhawan Heads To Arunachal Pradesh To Begin Shoot, To Be Stationed There Till May

Before Varun Dhawan’s wedding, it was said that the actor would hardly get time for a honeymoon since he would be beginning the shoot of his upcoming film Bhediya in no time. While he did get to spend sometime with his wife Natasha Dalal, it is now time for the actor to leave for Arunachal Pradesh, where he would kickstart the shoot of Amar Kaushik’s next.

If reports are to be believed, then the actor has already left for the north-eastern state. A source told Indian Express, “The film’s shoot will go on till May, it is a long schedule as the film will have a good amount of VFX and prosthetics, which is time consuming and necessary for any horror film. This is the first time Varun is trying a new genre of this kind, and he wants to give his best!”

He would be reuniting with his Dilwale co-star Kriti Sanon for this horror comedy. Speaking further, the source added, “The two of them (Varun and Kriti) have already worked together before, so they are aware of how they approach the script. Varun had really liked Stree and was quite excited to do a film in the same genre, which was helmed by the same director. His character is close to a monster in this project.”

The film will be a part of Dinesh Vijan’s horror world, which started with Stree and would have Rajkummar Rao, Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Sharma starrer Roohi  as a part. Bhediya would have Varun transform into a ‘Bhediya’! The film would also star Abhishek Banerjee and the official announcement would be made soon.
