One of the most talented and sought-after actresses of Bollywood, Bhumi Pednekar has been on a roll! After winning hearts with films like Saand Ki Aankh, Bala and Pati Patni Aur Woh in 2019, she wowed the audience with her performance in Bhoot – Part One: The Haunted Ship. Soon after the lockdown is over, the beauty will begin gearing up for her upcoming projects which include interesting scripts like Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare with Konkana Sen Sharma, Karan Johar’s multi-starrer Takht and Durgavati.

Bhumi will also share the big screen with Rajkummar Rao in the much-awaited Badhaai Do, the sequel of Ayushmann Khurrana’s super hit Badhaai Ho. Sharing her excitement about the project in a chat with Mumbai Mirror, Bhumi said, “Badhaai Do is a quirky family-drama that stays true to the series. Even the writers are the same as Part 1. Most of all, I look forward to working with Rajkummar (Rao, the protagonist in Part 2).”

When asked how she is spending her free time during the coronavirus lockdown, the actress stated, “I have revived my love for reading and am catching up on my sleep. I had been shooting continuously since 2017 so it's time for a breather. I am also learning how to cook like my mother, simple ghar ka khaana, recipes I can pass on to my children when I start a family.”
