Bigg Boss 13: Salman Khan To Launch The Show On Mumbai Metro Today, Read Details

Salman Khan is all set to return on the tube with the 13^th season of the reality show. Recently the makers of the show dropped a few more promos of the show revealing a little about two contestants that are part of the show and from the looks of it, they are Devoleena Bhattacharya and Siddharth Shukla.

The show will be launched today amidst a lot of fanfare. According to sources, the makers have planned to launch the show at Mumbai Metro corporation yard. It is being called the celebrity express launch! This could be the reason behind Salman Khan being seen in the garb of a station master in one of the promos of the show. This time the concept of the show would be ‘Jaldi-Jaldi’ and a total of 14 contestants will be locked up inside the glass mansion! According to sources, out of the 14 contestants, 8 would be girls and 6 would be boys. And all the contestants have signed on a NOD and the makers have kept it a heavily guarded secret.

This time the Bigg Boss house is also designed very differently from the previous season. AS opposed to the last season, this time the theme of the Bigg Boss house is more colourful. Last time, the TRPs for the reality show were dismal. The audiences didn’t want to see the show. During a media interaction, the designer of the house, Mr Omung Kumar said, “This time the theme of the house has been kept colourful because the makers wanted to bring the young audiences back to television.”

The house is beautifully decorated with wild colours which don’t have consistency at all. There are huge installations in the house with some beautiful floral paintings that surround the main television set hung on the wall in the living area. In the last season, the theme of the house was aquatic, therefore it had motifs that reminded one of the seas – artefacts like seashells, installations of mosaic-glassed dolphins and the colour blue was predominant on all the walls of the house. This time, it is a mix and merge of various bright colours. In the current season, the space allotted to the Bigg Boss mansion too is much smaller than the previous season. Point to be noted here is, this time the set of the reality show has been perched in Film city, Mumbai and therefore, the space constraint!

There are many new spaces created in the house, for instance, there is a beautiful loft in one corner of the living area and one can reach the loft through a flight of stairs and just below the loft is a cosy sitting space, almost like a love seat!
