Bigg Boss 14 Weekend Ka Vaar Highlights: Housemates Celebrate Salman’s Birthday; Arshi Troubles Vikas Gupta

Last night’s episode of Weekend Ka Vaar was an extremely special one. Bigg Boss 14 housemates celebrated host and superstar Salman Khan’s 55^th birthday and it was one star studded event. That’s right! His co-stars Raveena Tandon, Jacqueline Fernandez, season 13’s Shehnaaz Gill and choreographer Dharmesh Yelande graced the stage to celebrate Bollywood’s Bhaijaan’s birthday. Raveena and Jacqueline began the episode by giving Salman a fantastic introduction. They then reminisced their fondest memories of the superstar, guessed how many thumkas he can do in one minute and cut the cake with him.

Raveena also suggested that they should invite the BB14 housemates for this special cake cutting ceremony, but they were nowhere to be found. It was then revealed that all the housemates, except Eijaz and Sonali, had prepared special dance performances to entertain the birthday boy. While Rubina Dilaik and Rahul Vaidya danced on Yaar Naa Miley, Nikki Tamboli and Aly Goni shook a leg to Lat Lag Gayee. It was a very happy moment but soon after the cake cutting ceremony, Eijaz and Sonali complained to Salman about not getting to perform. Salman explained why it wasn’t possible, but later gave them a chance to dance and they grooved to Mashallah.

Housemates then got to do a Naarebaazi task in which they had to pick up banners with different slogans, enter the name of the contestant who fit the description and then protest against him/her. While Nikki annoyed Aly by saying Bye Bye to him, Rubina chanted that the housemates will not take Eijaz Khan’s attitude anymore. Jasmin, on the other hand, called Vikas Gupta ‘nalla’ and asked him to resign from captaincy whereas Abhinav Shukla called Eijaz out for talking behind backs. In the end, Aly decided that he’s going to make life hell for Nikki inside the house.

Birthday boy Salman was then joined by Shehnaaz and Dharmesh. While Shehnaaz wished Bhaijaan a happy birthday and danced to Dil Diyan Gallan, Dharmesh shook a leg with the superstar on his famous track Just Chill from Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya. Dharmesh and Shehnaaz also made the housemates dance in pairs to get a hook step for the official track of Moj app. They later gave the contestants another task. This time they had to choose the ‘Entertainment Ka Dhabba’ inside the house and put cake on their face. While Aly and Eijaz picked Nikki, Rahul Mahajan was called out by Rakhi, Vikas Gupta and Jasmin. However, in the end Vikas was declared as ‘Entertainment Ka Dhabba’ by the housemates after getting the highest number of votes from Rubina, Abhinav, Arshi Khan, Sonali Phogat and Rahul Mahajan’s votes. Before taking leave, Salman announced that evictions have been cancelled this time.

After all the housemates went to bed, Arshi decided to trouble Vikas yet again. In the evening she had promised that she won’t hurt him ever again but she apparently thought it would be more fun to flip. Vikas, who is not well and has been going to the doctor quite a few time, was sleeping in the captain’s room when Arshi went, woke him up and asked if he’s sleeping. He jumped with shock and asked if she is mad and challenged her to try and sleep now. Sometime later when their argument continued, Vikas threw water on Arshi and she tried to do the same, but was stopped by the other contestants. Later when Vikas finally went to sleep, he began screaming and crying in his sleep, leaving the other housemates worried. Sonali and Nikki went to check up on him and the latter asked him to come and sleep outside so he doesn’t feel alone. We wonder if Arshi will ever stop troubling Vikas.
