Bigg Boss 14’s Abhinav Shukla Shares His Thoughts On Partial Lockdown; Says It Slows The Economy

Last year in March, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a nationwide lockdown to help stop the spread of novel coronavirus, which had taken over the entire world. After a few months, the citizens were allowed to step out of their houses and resume work, if and only if guidelines were followed and precautions were taken. Sadly the second wave of the pandemic is now upon us and as a result, night curfews have been re-introduced in many cities. A few days ago, the Maharashtra Government even announced a partial lockdown till April 30th.

Bigg Boss 14’s Abhinav Shukla Shares His Thoughts On Partial Lockdown; Says It Slows The Economy

Talking to Spotboye, Bigg Boss 14 contestant Abhinav Shukla shared his opinion on the lockdown. He stated, “It's like history repeating itself within a year since the first lockdown. Lockdown is not a cure or a remedy for COVID, it's a way to slow the spread so that our medical machinery don’t collapse by sheet no of cases! But along with it Lockdown slows the economy too, generates unemployment, creates disparity! If we (public and administration) haven’t learnt lessons from the first lockdown then we prove the adage right: “people who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it.”

Meanwhile, there are a few who are happy about working from home as they don’t want to expose themselves or their loved ones to the virus. For the entertainment industry, while work on many upcoming projects has resumed, shoots are now prohibited on weekends.

Do you think this is the correct answer to our current problems?
