Bole Chudiyan: Not Brother Nawazuddin Siddiqui But This Actor Was Director Shamas' First Choice For The Film

We have been hearing so much about Bole Chudiyaan from the very inception of the film. Lead actor Nawazuddin Siddique not just made his singing debut with this one, but had also told fans that it would have glimpses of his real life, in the sense that he has tried to show how his teenage love had been like! The film has been directed by Nawaz's brother Shamas. Now, in a recent interview, Shamas has revealed that not Nawaz but another actor was his initial choice for the film!

Yes, you read that right. Talking to Mid Day, Shamas revealed that he wanted to cast Ayushmann Khurrana for the film. He told the daily, “Ayushmann [Khurrana] was my original choice for the film. But the producer wanted to cast Nawaz. When he narrated the story to Nawaz, he loved the script. I have included some incidents from his life in the script, so I felt [the actor] would do justice to the role.”

He also revealed that some portions of the shoot are still left. He added, “We had planned to shoot the climax on April 15. But now, things have [been delayed] due to the prevailing situation. We hope to wrap up the film soon.”

Recently, Shamas disagreed with Nawaz when the latter lambasted celebs for posting vacation pictures and taking a vacation to the Maldives in the first place. Shamas questioned what has he done to uplift society!
