Bole Chudiyan: Tamannaah Bhatia opens up about her co-star Nawazuddin Siddiqui, calls him a 'simple and easy-going person'

Tamannaah Bhatia and Nawazuddin Siddiqui will come together for the first time in Shamas Siddhiqui's Bole Chudiyan. The songs of the film are already out and audience is waiting to see the film. Now, leading lady Tamannaah has opened up about the film, and about the experience of sharing screen space with Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

Talking to Mid Day, Tamannaah said that the focus has now changed. She said, “[Earlier] there was a lot of focus on conventionally good-looking people being part of movies. Now, the focus has shifted to the kind of performer you are. What matters now is whether you suit the role, rather than the idea of how a quintessential hero or heroine should look. It is a healthy [change]. This way, you can tell more stories that are believable and relatable.”

Talking about Nawaz and her experience of working with him, Tamannaah said, “He is a simple and easy-going person, so it was easy to interact with him. When you work with actors who [enable] a seamless give-and-take equation, it’s a deeply gratifying experience.”

Nawazuddin will play a bangle seller in the film which would also have touches from his personal life and his teenage crush.
