Bollywood Actresses Who Came Up With Some Epic Comebacks On Talk Shows

Apart from films and red carpet, our other favorite place for celebrity spotting are talk shows. It is simply a one of a kind opportunity too actually understand the real personality of the stars whom we love so much.

While most talk shows are fun and game and definitely high on gossip meter, once in a while we strike gold when stars comeback with a super witty reply that stays in our minds for ages. Here are a few of those replies and talk show moments of Bollywood celebrities that we will never forget.

Aishwarya Rai- David Letterman Show (2005)

Back in 2005, Aishwarya had the one of a kind opportunity to be a guest on the super popular and prestigious David Letterman show. Although the mood was all light and fun things took an uncomfortable turn when Letterman asked why in India grown-up people live with their parents? Not the one to take things lying low, Aishwarya quickly quipped that they also do not have to make appointments to meet their own parents. Ouch!

Twinkle Khanna- Koffee With Karan (2017)

She was simply a firecracker on the show and poor host Karan Johar was on the receiving end of it constantly. Given the two are really close friends from childhood, Twinkle simply reveled in giving quick comebacks to Karan. She said the worst criticism she has received when someone compared her writings to Karan but the best one was when she was asked who was her favorite Khan, she responded, “why don’t you add Fawad Khan to the list and you tell me the answer.” It has been 2 years, but it is still funny.

Deepika Padukone- Ellen Degeneres Show (2017)

During the promotions of her first Hollywood film, Deepika went to the insanely popular Ellen Degeneres’ talk show. As Ellen proceeded to ask DP about affair rumors with Vin Diesel, she quipped, “So yeah, I mean in my head I think, like yeah, we are together and we have this amazing chemistry, and we live together and we have these amazing babies! But it’s all in my head.” Ellen truly had a priceless expression on her face after this answer.

Kangana Ranaut- Koffee With Karan (2017)

This will probably go down in the history of the most awkward talk show episode in India ever. When Karan asked Kangana about whether she would like to have a biography, Kangana’s instant response was, “In my biopic, if ever it's made, you'll play that stereotypical Bollywood biggie, who is like you know, very snooty and completely intolerant towards outsiders, flag-bearer of nepotism, the movie mafia." Well, you surely would never forget ever! Kangana also accused Karan of making fun of her English.
