Brahmastra: Alia Bhatt And Director Ayan Mukerji Visit A Temple On Maha Shivratri; Watch

Brahmastra seems to be like a jinxed project. The film, which is being directed by Ayan Mukerji, was announced back in 2017. It was supposed to release in 2019 but the film has been getting delayed for one reason or the other. It was being reported that the new release date would be announced this week, but lead actor Ranbir Kapoor tested positive for COVID-19. Alia Bhatt was also kept under home quarantine, but after testing negative and with due permission from the doctor, she resumed work yesterday. And the first thing that she did was seek the blessings of God on the auspicious day of Maha Shivratri.

Alia Bhatt, along with Ayan Mukerji, paid a visit to Mukteshwar Temple in Mumbai. While the director wore plain white kurta-pajama, Alia chose a bright red suit for the occasion. They sought the blessing of the almighty, and also obliged the shutterbugs by posing for them.

The actress was, in fact, quite unwilling to take off her mask even for the pictures, but on the insistence of the paps, did so but after she had confirmed that everyone amongst them was wearing a mask. We hope that the film hits the theatres soon, because we have been waiting for this one for far too long!
