Brahmastra: Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will head to Budapest for the last schedule after August

Ayan Mukerji’s superhero film Brahmastra is undoubtedly one of the most awaited movies of Bollywood. Not only does it boast of an incredibly talented star cast which includes Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjuna Akkineni, but will also feature an exciting cameo by superstar Shah Rukh Khan. After a brief pause when the pandemic situation improved in the country, the film was back on floors in March. However, it came to an abrupt halt when Ranbir tested positive for COVID-19.

A few weeks later his co-star and girlfriend Alia also contracted the virus, and then a janta curfew was imposed in the state. Well, according to the latest report shared by Mid Day, the shoot of Brahmastra will resume as soon as the team is vaccinated. The last leg will be shot in Budapest, Hungary. A source was quoted saying, “After the cast and crew are fully vaccinated, they will head to Hungary for the last schedule. Ayan intends to kick off the Budapest leg post August, hoping that international travel will be possible by then.”

Co-produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma productions, Brahmāstra will serve as the first film in a planned trilogy. The film also stars television’s Naagin Mouni Roy in a pivotal role.
