BREAKING: Ekta Kapoor’s ALTBalaji Will Next Adapt This Best-Selling Novel Into A Web Series

Ekta Kapoor’s ALTBalaji is churning out web series one after the other. At times the content is sexual and at times bold, at times pertinent and at times well, just a plot to pass time.

And now, we have exclusively learnt that ALTBalaji is all set to turn yet another novel into a web show. Well, for the uninitiated, this is not the first time that Ekta’s ALTBalaji will be adapting a novel for the streaming platform, it has earlier happened with Bekaboo that had Rajeev Siddharth playing the role of Kiyaan Roy. The series was adapted from Novoneel Bhattacharjee’s bestselling novel Black Suits You.

According to sources close to AltBalaji we have been informed this time another best selling novel has been zeroed in to be adapted for the OTT platform. “ALTBalaji has already finalised the next novel it will be adapting into a web series. It is the best-selling novel written by screenwriter and journalist Pankaj Dubey called Ishqiapa - To Hell With Love.”

The novel revolves around Sweety and Lallan. Sweety is an ill-tempered loud-mouthed daughter of a local MLA and Lallan is Patna’s Ambani in the making. He wants to start a ‘kidnapping insurance’ business. The duo decides to help each other and the journey begins that starts to go awry eventually. The story is set in modern-day Patna and Mumbai.
