The ‘outsiders vs insiders’ debate is back in the limelight along with the infamous nepotism controversy and this time star kids are getting trolled like never before. They are dealing with hate messages regularly and many have disabled the comment section of their social media posts. On the other hand, actors who do not have a filmy background are opening up about their inspiring struggle stories. Well in a recent interview, filmmaker R Balki shared his opinion on this ‘foolish argument’.

In a chat with Hindustan Times, the Padman director shared that the existence of nepotism is undeniable and is present everywhere in the society. Hence the whole debate is a foolish argument. However, he went on to state, “The question is do they (star kids) have an unfair or bigger advantage? Yes, there are pros and cons. But I’d ask one simple question: Find me a better actor than Alia (Bhatt) or Ranbir (Kapoor), and we’ll argue. It’s unfair on these few people who’re probably some of the finest actors.”

Bulbbul star Avinash Tiwary, an exceptionally talented actor who does not belong to a filmy family, had the perfect response to the filmmaker’s statement. His tweet will not only win your heart but will also give you an insight of how much struggle ‘outsiders’ have to go through to get opportunities in Bollywood. He shared, “Dear #RBalki Sir, you would not know of the better Actors if they are not given an opportunity and you don't step out to watch them.”

While Avinash began his career back in 2006 with the documentary Anamika: Her Glorious Past, it took him almost 10 long years to land his Bollywood debut. He went on to win hearts with his spectacular performance in Laila Majnu and Ghost Stories and recently left the audience impressed with his character in Netflix original Bulbbul. The actor will next be seen in the much awaited mystery thriller The Girl on the Train, alongside Parineeti Chopra, Aditi Rao Hydari and Kirti Kulhari. We are eagerly waiting to see him shine on our screens again.
