Bunty Aur Babli 2: Siddhant Chaturvedi And Sharvari Wagh Ready To Con You Again; Film's Release Date Announced

The sequel to the 2005 comedy Bunty Aur Babli is special for many reasons. The movie may not mark the reunion of Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukerji onscreen but it has our favorite Hum Tum returning on-screen after a long while. Saif has replaced Abhishek in the project while the lead pair Siddhant Chaturvedi and Sharvari Wagh are another big reason why fans will be rushing to the theatres.

As Saif and Rani shoot the climax of the film in Abu Dhabi, the makers have dropped the release date of this much-awaited project. Bunty Aur Babli 2 will be releasing theatres on 26 June 2020 and the announcement promises that you’ll be conned once again!

Well, aren’t we more than ready for it? As far as the climax of the film is concerned the director of the film Varun Sharma told Mid Day, “The landscape of the Emirate gives a lot of scale to the film, and the team will spend around 10 days shooting the sequence.”

Siddhant who we last saw as MC Sher in Gully Boy and bagged a Filmfare trophy for the project for Best Supporting Actor will play the lead in this one along with Sharvari Wagh was recently seen in Kabir Khan’s limited web series The Forgotten Army.

Bunty Aur Babli 2 was announced in December 2019.
