    Chennai Express Producer, Karim Morani’s Daughter Tests Positive For Coronavirus

    The daughter of Chennai Express’ producer, Karim Morani, has tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Shaza has been admitted to a hospital in Mumbai and Karim has himself confirmed the news.

    Talking to Spotboye, the producer said, “My daughter Shaza has not mingled with any foreign travellers and had no COVID symptoms at all. It is my duty to inform you as we are law-abiding citizens. We are admitting her in Nanavati Hospital to be kept under isolation. The municipal authorities will be here, tomorrow, at 10 30 pm." 

    Everyone in the Morani house has been kept under quarantine and they would also be tested soon. A BMC corporator has said, “The entire Morani house is under lockdown. There are 9 people living in that building. All will be tested tomorrow. We shall take all steps to be extremely co-operative with them."

    Karim Morani is a close friend of Shah Rukh Khan and Shaza had worked as an assistant director in films like Always Kabhie Kabhie and Happy New Year. We wish for her speedy recovery.

    Earlier, Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor also tested positive for coronavirus in Lucknow. She was admitted to a hospital there and her results came negative after the sixth test. The novel virus has claimed thousands of life worldwide and the entire country has been put under a lockdown to combat the disease.
