    Choreographer Paul Marshal Was Inspired By Prabhudeva And Govinda, Reveals His Initial Dream Was To Open An Art Gallery

    Dancer and Choreographer Paul Marshal who is currently seen in Dance Deewane season 3 and has been part of many reality shows like DID, Dance Plus, Nach Baliye, India's Got Talent and has choreopraghed in ABCD 2 and Beat Pe Booty (Flying Jatt). He has always impressed the judges with his mesmerizing choreography and dance moves be it in any reality show.

    On talking about his journey and dance career Paul says, "After finishing my schooling, I started with back dancing when I was in FYJC and also I used to do drumming for 4 years in boarding. Then gradually started with Marathi shows as a folk dancer and later on did my first stage show as a back dancer - CHITRAPAT PURASKAR (Aurangabad). Then did my first reality show as a contestant (KRAZZY KIYA RE 2) and since then I have been doing different reality shows on different channels back to back. Not sure about the exact number but somewhere around 25 reality shows and still adding. My first reality show as an assistant choreographer Dance India dance Little Master season 1 with Dharmesh. First movie song as an independent choreographer was Happy Hour- ABCD2."

    On sharing about making dance as a career he states, "Well, I always wanted to do something in Art . My initial dream was to open my own Art Gallery as I love sketching and painting. But somewhere watching movies, I got inspired by Prabhudeva sir and Govinda. And from there I started moving towards dancing. And you know that you doing it right when people around you starts appreciating your work. So that is how I got into dancing. Everytime someone praises my work, I get motivated, I get inspired to do better.

    On talking about the challenges faced he shared, "Honestly, everything or every person has a journey to go through and without the journey there is no destination. So I can’t really describe on how difficult or easy was it for me but trust me the it has been very beautiful for me. I guess I have always been loved by everyone. My work has really helped me to make a good bond with everyone I have come across."


    On talking about bollywood choreography which has evolved over the years he add, "Dancing as a career has so much to do with now and so does the Bollywood choreography. Earlier, Bollywood songs were only about the actor and the actress and the composition of the song. But now it’s also about the steps, movements, costumes, back dancer location and choreography. So for choreographers like us the size of the plate has increased and we can serve so much in terms of varieties. There is plethora of work out there."
