Codename: Johnny Walker- Ali Fazal Bags The Lead Role In The Hollywood War Drama

There have been several Bollywood stars who have made a prominent mark in the West as well. While Priyanka Chopra has been grabbing headlines for her work in Hollywood, another Bollywood star is silently working to fame. We are talking about Ali Fazal, who would soon be seen in A Death In The Nile alongside gal Godot, Rose Leslie, Emma Mackey, Tom Bateman, Annette Bening, Kenneth Branagh and Russell Brand amongst others. Now, as he is waiting for the film's release, he has landed another film.

Yes, Ali has signed yet another Hollywood project. This time, it is a war drama called Codename: Johnny Walker. The best part is that, Ali would be playing the lead role in the film. According to a report in Mid Day, the title is tentative and the script of the film would be written by Academy Award nominee and former writer of The Tonight Show, Alan Wenkus.

Ali is yet to confirm the news but this is a moment to rejoice for the actor indeed. In India, he is all set to return as Guddu Bhaiyya in Mirzapur 2, the trailer of which released yesterday. He is all set to not just seek revenge but capture Mirzapur in the face of new enemies. The series will release on 23rd October!
