Confirmed: Richa Chadha, Ali Fazal Wedding Put Off Till Second Half Of 2020 Due To Coronavirus Spread

After months of speculating, in February Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal had finally confirmed that they are indeed getting married in April 2020. The news may have sent fans in a frenzy but it looks like that the two actors will have to wait a little longer to be married as the coronavirus pandemic has shaken things up a little.

As a lockdown scenario prevails in most parts of Mumbai the two actors are also practicing self-quarantine and while so far there were rumours of their wedding postponement, it has now been confirmed by the spokesperson of the two actors.

The statement said, “Given the current scenario and the unfortunate turn of events owing to the COVID-19 pandemic globally, Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha have decided to postpone their wedding functions to the later half of 2020 tentatively. They wish for everyone to be healthy and safe and at no cost would want their friends, families and well wishers to be affected.”

Ali and Richa had taken a date for their wedding registration which was to last a period of three months. It was earlier reported that the couple is planning to move their wedding to October 2020.
