Coronavirus Lockdown: Alia Bhatt Misses Daddy Mahesh Bhatt; Karan Johar Quizzes Yash And Roohi About The Pandemic

Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared a 21-day long nationwide lockdown as a step to help stop the spread of novel coronavirus. So far, our country has reported 649 confirmed cases, including 13 deaths. While the cases have almost tripled in the last 10 days, 42 have been discharged or cured. Bollywood celebrities have been incredibly active on social media in this period and are trying their best to lift spirits of their fans. They are also requesting the citizens of our country to stay at home and take precautions.

While most are spending quality time with their loved ones, some are connecting with them through video calls or social media. Alia Bhatt, who stays with her sister Shaheen Bhatt in their lovely Juhu apartment, falls in the second category. The actress took to her official handle today to share an adorable throwback picture with daddy dearest Mahesh Bhatt. In this photograph, Alia is sitting on the corner of a bed with her eyes closed while her father is giving her a sweet hug. Along with the post, she wrote a heartwarming message which read: “Stay home &... go through old pictures when you’re missing your daddy #throwbackthursday #stayhomestaysafe.”

Karan Johar, on the other hand, is making the most of his time at home. For instance, he shared a cute video of his munchkins Yash and Roohi today, in which the filmmaker is quizzing them about the coronavirus pandemic. However, it’s no surprise that the kids are more interested in Peppa Pig. Ananya Panday, who loves the show, was one of the first ones to comment: “Hahahah too cute!! Peppa!! I have loads to talk about with them clearly.”
