Coronavirus Outbreak: Poonam Pandey Arrested For Violating The Lockdown, Car Has Been Confiscated

The nation has been put under a lockdown since March end to contain the spread of the novell coronavirus, that has caused a pandemic. While there has been a partial lift in the lockdown in areas where the disease has not spread much or has been contained, the red zone is still under a lockdown, with restriction in movement without any legit reason. Mumbai and Delhi are amongst the major cities that come under the red zone. Under such circumstances, Poonam Pandey had decided to take a joy ride around the city. The results were obvious- the model has been arrested and her BMW has been confiscated.

According to a report in TV9Bharatvarsh, the actress was out with her friends for no reason. A report against her was made at the Marine Drive Police Station, following which she and her friend had been arrested under sections 188, 269 and 51(B) last night. Her BMW has also been confiscated. She had been released later along with her friend, though the car is still in the possession of the police.

Poonam Pandey has made headlines with her controversial comments and her hot pictures. She had grabbed headlines earlier this year when she filed a case against Shilpa Shetty Kundra’s husband, Raj Kundra. She accused him and his associates of using content from her app after the termination of the contract. Kundra said that he was no longer associated with the company that managed her app.
