Coronavirus Scare: Kapil Sharma Cancels Scheduled Shoot Of The Kapil Sharma Show Today

The coronavirus pandemic has caused the world to go under a lockdown and everyone around the globe is practicing social distancing right now. While the government has already passed a circular to stop all film and TV serial from 19^th to 31^st March, many shoots were stopped before that. Kapil Sharma, being the committed man that he is towards his show, wanted to shoot one episode today before the lockdown. But, the shoot has now been cancelled.

According to a report in TOI, Chandan Prabhakar,  who essays the character of Chandu in the Kapil Sharma Show said, “Yes, we were supposed to shoot on Wednesday but we were informed today that the shooting has been called-off until further notice.”

Yesterday, the BMC had stopped the shoot of several shows like Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasmah and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Even though the circular suggested that shoots would be stopped from March 19^th, looks like everyone is taking preventive measures before that to stop the spread of the highly contagious Corona Virus. Producer of Tarak Mehta also tweeted that there is no clarity.

Well, it looks like whatever is being done is for the best. We hope that things get back to normal as soon as possible and pray for the safety of people.
