Debutantes Of 2018 and How Their Future Looks In Bollywood

Just like every other aspect, the debuts of Bollywood in 2018 has also been pretty fruitful. Even though there have been some major disappointments like Utkarsh Sharma, Ishaan, Jahnvi, and Sara has more than made up for it.

One can argue, that the debutantes this year had quite a good launch and some of them got catapulted to instant stardom after their first film. For most of the debutantes this year, who managed to leave some impression on the audience, the future already looks pretty promising. Here are a few debutantes of 2018 who impressed us and how their future looks like Bollywood.

Ishaan Khatter

Ishaan made a sensational debut with Majid Majidi’s Beyond The Clouds which received rave critical acclaims. He then followed it up Dhadak which not only got wide appreciation but also turned out to be successful at the box-office. Even though Ishaan has not yet announced his third film, it is just a matter of time we get to know who he is working with next, because this cutie is surely here to stay.

Jahnvi Kapoor

One of the most talked about debuts of the year, Jahnvi literally had a dream debut with Dhadak opposite Ishaan Khatter. She also received positive responses and she is very much a hot property in Bollywood right now. The talented newcomer has managed to bag a few big projects as well. She will be seen in Karan Johar’s magnum opus Takht as Hirabai and is also doing the Gunjan Saxena biopic where she will essay the titular role of India’s first female combat aviator.

Sara Ali Khan

Going by numbers, Jahnvi might have had bigger success than Sara in her debut film, but Sara has surely managed to charm her way into our hearts. Apart from her substantial performance in Kedarnath, she has won the heart of many with her colorful personality and wit. While her second film Simmba has already hit the theatres, the offers have come in pouring for Sara. Although no formal announcement has been made, if reports are to believed she will be opposite Varun Dhawan in a David Dhawan film and might also work with her crush Kartik Aaryan in his next venture.

Rohan Mehra

Even though Baazaar did not do too well at the box-office, son of yesteryear actor Vinod Mehra, Rohan Mehra was noticed and appreciated for his performance. Despite the rocky start. Rohan surely has the potential to make it further in Bollywood. Although there have been no formal announcements, sources have revealed that Rohan has a couple of interesting offers and will soon be seen in something.

Aayush Sharma

Salman Khan made sure that brother-in-law Aayush Sharma makes quite a debut with LoveYatri. Even though the film did not work very well, it is surely not going to affect Aayush’e career in Bollywood. If reports are to be believed then Salman Khan is planning to produce another movie with Aayush as the lead. The movie is going to be an action-packed love story and Mouni Roy might star opposite Aayush in it.
