Deepika And Ranveer Celebrate 3 Years Of Padmaavat; Latter Calls It His ‘Tryst With The Dark Side’

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are undoubtedly two of the most talented, adored and sought after actors of the Hindi film industry. Together, they make a dynamic duo! While they won our hearts with their sizzling chemistry in films like Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela and Bajirao Mastani, it was their solo performances in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat that took our breath away. Deepika left us in awe as Rani Padmavati, whereas Ranveer gave one of his best and most versatile performances as the deadly Alauddin Khilji. The masterpiece completes 3 years today.

On this special occasion, Deepika and Ranveer took a walk down memory lane with BTS videos. Along with the emotional clip, Deepika penned a caption which read, “3 Years of Padmaavat. Some memories & experiences are difficult to articulate but live in your heart forever. Padmaavat was one such experience. The film also features marvelous performances by Shahid Kapoor aka Rajput ruler Maharawal Ratan Singh, Aditi Rao Hydari as Alauddin Khilji’s first wife Mehrunisa and Jim Sarbh as Khilji’s prominent slave-general Malik Kafur.
