Deepika Padukone Is A Big Fan Of Salman Khan's Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Wants To Star In A Film Like That With Him

The gorgeous and immensely talented Deepika Padukone is currently gearing up for her upcoming film Chhapaak. Also featuring Vikrant Massey, the film is based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal and has been directed by Meghna Gulzar. Slated to hit theatres on 10^th January, it will mark Deepika’s first production venture. The actress, who has been extremely busy on a promotional spree, was asked in a recent media interaction if she will be gracing the stage of popular reality show Bigg Boss for her film. While she stated that there is no conversation of going to the show, she also made a surprising revelation.

Much to the delight of fans, Deepika talked about Bigg Boss host and superstar Salman Khan and shared, “Our fans are always curious about if we are doing a film together, about when we are doing a film together. I really want to do it but I think it's important for us to come together for the right kind of film. We have always seen Salman in certain types of films. I am the biggest fan of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and I would like to see him in that kind of a role or something different from what he has done, so I think it's really the script (that matters).” She went on to add, “We have not been offered anything in recent times but I would love to do a film with him.”

Meanwhile, after Chhapaak Deepika will be seen on the big screen in the sports drama ‘83 alongside husband and actor Ranveer Singh. While Ranveer will be playing the character of legendary cricketer Kapil Dev, the actress will portray the role of his on-screen wife.
