Deepika Padukone Not Keen On Working With Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Rejects Multiple Offers From Filmmaker?

Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Sanjay Leela Bansali together are a dream team that we just can’t get enough of even after three films that they have worked together on. Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ramleela, Bajirao Mastani, and then Padmaavat, the filmmaker has delivered his last three biggest hits with Ranveer and Deepika in the center of all action. However, Sanjay is now working on Gangubai Kathiawadi with Alia and rumors are that Deepika isn’t all too pleased about it.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Deepika Padukone are extremely close after three films but reportedly, the actress has been turning down any and all offers from the filmmaker lately. According to a Bollywood Hungama report, Deepika turned down the offer to star in a dance number in Gangubai Kathiawadi, a key role in his debut web series Heera Mandi and even a dance number on the show.

Although this could be due to Deepika’s tightly packed work schedule where the actress has Shakun Batra next, Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathan, Fighter with Hrithik Roshan, and an Ashwin Nag film with Prabhas to shoot. The actress in December also surprised SLB on the sets of Gangubai Kathiawadi with husband Ranveer Singh.

The report, however, claims that the filmmaker choosing Alia for Gangubai and keeping her his second option after Priyanka Chopra has upset Deepika. A source of the portal also said that attempts are on to resolve these misunderstandings and Sanjay plans to speak to Deepika and cast her in Baiju Bawra.
