Deepika Padukone, Prabhas & Amitabh Bachchan To Start Shooting For Nag Ashwin’s Sci-Fi Thriller From June-July

The reigning queen of Bollywood, Deepika Padukone is known for winning hearts each time she shines on the big screen. She was last seen in Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak, as an acid attack survivor, and is currently gearing up for Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathan and Shakun Batra’s next with Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi. Well, another much awaited project that Deepika has in the pipeline is Nag Ashwin’s ambitious sci-fi thriller with megastar Amitabh Bachchan and South superstar Prabhas.

The project was announced last year in the month of July with a special video which celebrated the coming together of two of India’s biggest and most loved superstars. Big B joined the cast later, making it a dream team. Well according to the latest report shared by Bollywood Hungama, the filmmaker has been busy fine-tuning the script and the logistics. In an interview, he revealed that the pre-production is underway and the venture is expected to go on floors by June-July this year. The film will then hit theatres in 2022.

Well, other than the sci-fi thriller, SRK’s next with Siddharth Anand and Shakun’s romantic drama, Deepika will also be sharing the screen with her husband and actor Ranveer Singh in Kabir Khan’s ‘83 and Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus. The beauty has her hands full and her fans could not have been happier!
