Deepika Padukone's Co-Stars With Initials 'S', 'A' And 'R' To Be Summoned By Narcotics Control Bureau For Questioning?

Deepika Padukone found herself in a spot after a WhatsApp chat with her manager Karishma Prakash leaked some days back. It did not have names, but the conversation revolved around 'maal', 'hash' and 'ganja'. The timing was worse, with the Narcotics Control Bureau looking at drug abuse in the entertainment industry and both the actress and her manager were summoned. Now, it is being said that more stars would be called in for questioning.

Apart from 'D' and 'K' which apparently stands for Deepika and Karishma, there had been others with initials 'S', 'A' and 'R' in the chats. Reports suggest that they would be summoned soon by the NCB for questioning. A report in ABP News that Kshitih Prasad have given out the names. Apparently, 'A' is an actor who consumes drugs and there is a cricketer involved too!

Deepika apparently had agreed that she was a part of the chat and the admin of the WhatsApp group. However, she maintained that 'hash' and 'ganja' were codenames for cigarettes and there was no drugs involved. She was shooting for Shakun Batra's next in Goa alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday and returned to Mumbai a day before the questioning. Her phone has been seized by the NCB.
