Deepika Padukone's Ex- Manager Karishma Prakash Resigns From The KWAN Talent Management Agency

For months, the Narcotics Control Bureau has been investigating the drug angle related to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. Many Bollywood celebs have been on the NCB’s radar. Deepika’s ex-manager Karishma Prakash's name also cropped up in Bollywood’s alleged drug nexus as one of the drug peddlers arrested by NCB reportedly mentioned her during questioning. Later, NCB conducted a  raid at Karishma's residence and seized hashish and bottles of CBD Oil. After that, Karishma Prakash, was an employee of the KWAN talent management agency, gave in her resignation. Now, the company has officially issued a statement.

It reads, “Karishma Prakash tendered her resignation on 21st of October with immediate effect and it was accepted. She now has nothing to do with KWAN or with any of the artists that the agency represents including Deepika Padukone. The ongoing investigations are on Karishma Prakash as an individual. We would request media houses and reporters to incorporate this fact while reporting on this issue.”

However, After NCB raided Karishma's residence,  reports were doing the rounds that she had gone missing as she did not respond to the summons sent. News emerged that NCB has issued a new summon to Karishma Prakash and appeared for questioning on Wednesday.
