Deepika Shares Throwback Pics Remembering Her Journey; Taapsee Reveals Why She Signed Mission Mangal

Well much to our delight, many actors have regularly been sharing cute throwback snaps on social media during quarantine, leaving their followers in awe. For instance, Deepika Padukone took a trip down memory lane a while ago and shared clicks from her younger days along with an enlightening caption which read: “They say look ahead... But ever so often remind yourself about where you’ve come from and everything it has taken to get to where you are on this incredible journey... #flashbackfriday.”

On the other hand, Taapsee Pannu continued her #QuarantinePost series, where she regularly shares interesting stories or revelations from her filmy journey. Along with a picture with the cast of Mission Mangal, the beauty revealed two reasons why she signed the multi-starrer. She stated, “I remember I said yes to this film for 2 major reasons , one was coz I wanted to be a part of this story which is something to cherish for years to come. Secondly I wanted to be a part of this beautiful ensemble of actors I know will have energy worth celebrating every moment.”

Featuring Taapsee, Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Nithya Menen, Kirti Kulhari, Sharman Joshi, H. G. Dattatreya and Vikram Gokhale, Mission Mangal was based on the life of scientists at ISRO who contributed to the Mars Orbiter Mission. The film not only received rave reviews but also became a commercial success.
