Dharmendra Undergoes Test After His Staff Contracts COVID-19; Says ‘I Got Vaccinated & Am Feeling Fine’

As the nationwide lockdown completes a year, the second coronavirus wave is upon us. While initially most of us thought things were getting better, in the past few weeks the country has seen a hike in positive cases. Many Bollywood celebrities have also contracted the virus, Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan being the latest addition to the long list. Well latest reports suggest that the Deol household has now been hit by COVID-19. Three staff members have tested positive and every precaution is being taken by veteran actor Dharmendra and his family.

In a report shared by ETimes, a source stated, “Let's hope that the employees who have tested positive in the Deol home get well soon. Importantly, it should not spread to those who had been around them in the past few days. Every precaution is being taken by Dharamji and his family to keep the COVID-infected staff completely isolated, no stone is being left unturned. Dharamji has been usually parking himself since the past few months in his farmhouse in Lonavala but today he is in Mumbai.”

Dharam ji received his first dose of the coronavirus vaccine a few days ago, before which he was stationed at his farmhouse. When contacted, the actor reassured that he feels fine. Confirming the news about his staff, Dharam ji shared, “Well, I had got myself vaccinated (the senior star had put out the information about his immunisation on social media on March 20) and I am feeling fine. I have now undergone the COVID test, though. The result is expected by evening.”
