Dia Mirza Questions BMC's Demolition Of Kangana Ranaut's Property: What Were You Doing All This While?

Actress Kangana Ranaut is returning to Mumbai from her hometown Manali today. Ahead of her arrival on Wednesday the actress who recently faced various threats to her life and property after she compared the financial capital to Pakistan occupied Kashmir saw her newly furnished office in Bandra getting demolished by the BMC.

The actress who is often at the center of controversies in Bollywood may not always find agreement in her collegues but as her office was bulldozed by BMC official actress Dia Mirza stood up for the Manikarnika star questioning why the corporation suddenly raided and demolished the actress’s property.

In a few tweets Dia called out BMC for the demolition and said, “Kangana comparing Mumbai to POK is not acceptable. But there is absolutely no doubt that @mybmc moving to suddenly conduct a demolition of areas of her office space is totally questionable. Why now? Why like this? What were you doing all this while if there were irregularities?”

Elaborating on her point further Dia added, “I don’t agree with many of the things Kangana has said in the last few months. The name calling, the vicious personal attacks on individuals, the vilification of people. At the same time i am not okay with her being subjected to personal attacks.”

Prior to the demolition Dia has also expressed her solidarity with Kangana when Siva Sena spokesperson Sanjay Raut called her ‘haramkhor ladki’ in a TV interview and refused to apologise.
