A source close to Alia told Time Of India, “Alia was approached for a film with Aamir Khan. However, she had to decline the offer as she had reserved all the dates for ‘Inshallah’. The source further added, “Alia was looking forward to collaborating with Salman and SLB. The actress is very upset as she gave up on various other projects too during this period.”

The shooting of 'Inshallah' was expected to begin in September after Salman wrapped up his shooting for 'Dabangg 3'. 'Inshaallah' would have been one of the biggest collaborations in the Bollywood industry. The film would have brought Salman Khan and director Sanjay Leela Bhansali together almost after two decades since their film 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam' that was released in 1999.

While on the professional front, Alia has some interesting films in her kitty including, Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’, Mahesh Bhatt’s ‘Sadak 2’, Karan Johar’s ‘Takht’ and SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’.
