Did Shilpa Shetty know about Raj Kundra's alleged links to pornography case? Mumbai Police comments

In February 2021, the Mumbai Police bust a porn racket in the city after a complaint filed by two women. It was suspected that the aspiring actresses wore being lured into the business of making adult films on the promise to getting work in web series and films. Shilpa Shetty’s husband and businessman Raj Kundra was arrested in the case as a ‘key conspirator’ in the case where it has been alleged that the content was produced under his company for an app called ‘Hotshots’.

After Raj Kundra’s arrest, the police on Tuesday held a press conference to share details of the case. The Joint Commissioner of Mumbai Police, Milind Bharambe also commented on actress Shilpa Shetty’s possible role in the case and said that so far no evidence has been found against her, but they were still investigating the matter.

 “We have not been able to any find any active role (of Shilpa Shetty) yet. We are investigating. We’ll appeal to the victims to come forward and contact the Crime Branch Mumbai. We’ll take appropriate action,” Bharambe said at the press conference according to ANI.

Raj Kundra was arrested on Monday evening and was produced before the court on Tuesday post which he was remanded to police custody till July 23. So far 11 arrests have been made in the case since a complaint was filed in February.
