Did Shraddha Kapoor Let Go Of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Because Of Producer Dinesh Vijan?

We had reported to you earlier that the makers of Kartik Aaryan starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 had been undergoing some trouble finding the leading lady. The makers had approached two actresses- Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor. While Sara couldn’t do the film because of date clashes, Shraddha had to back out because of some unavoidable reasons. The makers finally zeroes in Kiara Advani and now the shoot has also begun. But now, weget to hear that Shraddha Kapoor might have had backed out because of none other than Dinesh Vijan.

According to a report by Pinkvilla, the actress was actually keen to be a part of the film, which is the sequel of the 2007 hit psychological drama starring Akshay Kumar. She had even worked out her dates, but apparently dropped the film because of DInesh Vijan. A source was quoted saying,

"Shraddha was extremely keen on doing Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. She even had the dates to shoot for it next year, after wrapping Baaghi 2. But the moment her producer friend Dinu heard she's toying with the idea of signing BB 2, he picked up the phone and asked her not to do the film."

But why would Dinesh Vijan take such a step? The portal explained and said that it was to have Shraddha associated with just one horror comedy franchise- Stree.

"He didn't want Shraddha to do another franchise film in the same horror comedy space. They are trying to mount Stree 2 sometime towards the latter half of 2020 and he wanted to avoid the clash. Shraddha, who is extremely close to Dinu, stood by her friend and obliged. She politely declined the offer." 

Well, we hope that Stree 2 is also ruled out soon and turns out to be a hit so that Shraddha does not have to rue the loss of this one, even if it turns a hit!
