Atal Bihari Vajapayee Watched this Film 25 Times

Former Prime Minister of India, Atal Bihari Vajpayee left for his heavenly abode leaving the entire nation in mourning. Apart from being a dynamic political figure in the country, Vajpayeeji was also a poet and it was perhaps for this reason that he had immense for every art-form.

Atal Bihari Vajpayee was a great patron of Bollywood and shared a beautiful chemistry with many Bollywood stars. Actress Waheeda Rehman was said to be close to him and respected him like a father figure. However, Vajpayeeji’s favorite heroine from Bollywood was the dream girl Hema Malini.

He was a huge fan of the gorgeous actress and Seeta Aur Geeta happened to be one of his favorite Bollywood films.  He claimed to have seen the 1972 blockbuster over 25 times.

Apart from Seeta Aur Geeta he also loved Raj Kapoor’s 1966 film Teesri Kasam which also won a national award. He also loved the song ‘Kabhie Kabhie Mere Dil Main’.
