People did not really know what to expect from this new guy with a very model-like look and interesting hair style making his debut with Jism. However, he straight walked into our hearts and has been there ever since.

From Dhoom, Dostana or Force to Paramanu: The Story Of Pokhran and Satyameva Jayate more recently, John Abraham has become a big commercial success apart from looking drop dead gorgeous every single we caught his glimpse. However, all of this almost did not happen and you won’t believe the reason why.

Right after the release of his debut film Jism, John came across an astrologer. The man told him he is never going to make it in the Bollywood and he should definitely quit the industry and try his luck in something else. He even went to the extent of saying that he would be over after his first film and will never have a future in the industry.

Even though John was shocked to hear the prophecy, he did not pay much heed to the suggestions of the astrologer. He kept working hard and delivering one hit after another and the rest we all know how amazingly well that turned out for him. Needless to say, John never went back to that astrologer ever again and instead focused his attention on his career which has led him to become not only a bankable superstar at the box-office but also a successful producer with a superb taste in new age content.

Safe to say, the astrologer really did not do his job too well.
