It’s been a month since we received news of Sushant Singh Rajput’s sudden demise. He was not only a spectacular actor and dancer but also a wonderful human being and his fans were eagerly looking forward to being entertained by him for many coming years. However, he was gone too soon. While his fans and family were devastated, his co-workers along with the film fraternity were heartbroken by the loss of yet another gem. It’s been a month, but it still hasn’t been enough time to process what happened.

Casting director Mukesh Chhabra, who is making his directorial debut with the actor’s last film Dil Bechara, took to his social media handle today to remember Sushant. He shared adorable pictures with his film’s hero, clicked behind the scenes during happier times. While seeing their bright smiles and happy faces will warm your heart, the caption will leave you feeling incredibly sad. Mukesh’s emotional note reads: “एक महीना हो गया है आज ‘अब तो कभी फ़ोन भी नहीं आएगा तेरा.’”

Sushant’s final film Dil Bechara will also mark his co-star Sanjana Sanghi’s debut in Bollywood. The coming-of-age romantic drama, which is based on John Green's 2012 novel The Fault in Our Stars, was initially scheduled to hit theatres on 8th May. However, makers decided to opt for a digital release due to the coronavirus pandemic. Dil Bechara will now premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on 24th July 2020.
