Dil Bechara Musical Tribute To Sushant Singh Rajput: Holding Back Your Tears Will Be Impossible; Watch

Sushant Singh Rajput is a name that reminds us of many wonderful performances that we have seen on the big screen over the many years. He was not only an exceptionally talented and hard-working actor, but also an incredible human being who always had a bright smile on his face. While he may not be amongst us anymore, Sushant managed to leave his co-stars, directors, fans, friends and family with the most beautiful memories to remember him by and we know for a fact that he will continue to live on in our hearts.

The actor’s final film Dil Bechara was supposed to hit theatres on 8^th May this year and he was very excited for its release. As always, Sushant gave his everything to the film. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, makers decided to opt for an OTT release. Sadly, he won’t be here with us to share the big moment when fans can finally laud his performance. As we eagerly wait for the release of the coming-of-age romantic drama, AR Rahman decided to pay a special musical tribute to the late actor. Along with amazing performances by some of the most popular and adored singers of Bollywood, we got to see a few glimpses of Sushant from the sets of Dil Bechara.

The music videos of three tracks from the film are already out and have received a big thumbs up from fans. However, watching the singers perform on these songs along with behind the scene clips will leave you fighting back tears. Each and every track has a special meaning and connection to Sushant and you will truly feel it while listening to the tribute. The track features AR Rahman, Sunidhi Chauhan, Hriday Gattani, Mohit Chauhan, Shreya Ghoshal, Shashaa Tirupati, Jonita Gandhi and a closing note narrated by Amitabh Bhattacharya. In the end, a special message is displayed on our screen which says: ‘Sushant Singh Rajput, 21/01/1986- Forever’. It’s a beautiful experience.

Starring Sushant and Sanjana Sanghi, Dil Bechara marks casting director Mukesh Chhabra’s directorial debut. The film is an adaptation of John Green's 2012 novel The Fault in Our Stars, and was originally titled Kizie Aur Manny based on Sushant and Sanjana’s characters. Dil Bechara is all set to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on 24^th July 2020.
