Diljit Dosanjh And Yami Gautam To Pair Up For A Yet To Be Titled Comedy!

If you are a fan of Diljit Dosanjh or Yami Gautam, then we have really good news for you. The two are all set to work opposite each other, for the first time, for a yet-to-be-titled comedy. The film will be produced by Ramesh Taurani and it will mark the debut of Aziz Mirza’s son, Haroon, as a director in Bollywood.

Ramesh Taurani confirmed the news to Mumbai Mirror and said, “Yes, Diljit and Yami have given their nod to the film. It’s a fresh pairing and we are excited because both are competent actors with impeccable comic timing. It is a sensible comedy and revolves around a couple.”

Taurani also added that they are also looking for a fresh face for the film. He said, “We also need another actress who has a crucial role to play in the narrative. The casting should be locked soon.”

Incidentally, the script is one of the last films that had been written by actor and scriptwriter Neeraj Vora before he slipped to coma in 2016 and eventually passed away in 2017. Neeraj had also penned the scripts for hits like Bhool Bhulaiyaa and Hera Pheri.

The film will be directed by Aziz Mirza’s son Haroon, who had earlier been an assistant director of Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, Yes Boss and Paheli. Diljit Dosanjh will soon be seen in films like Arjun Patiala opposite Kriti Sanon and Good News alongside Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kiara Advani. On the other hand, Yami Gautam will reunite with her Vicky Donor co-star Ayushmann Khurrana for Bala.
