Diljit Dosanjh Confirms Collaborating With Ali Abbas Zafar, Opens Up About Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari

A few days back, we had reported that Ali Abbas Zafar had signed a deal with Netflix and before he started work on the Katrina Kaif starrer superhero film, he might collaborate with Diljit Dosanjh for a film with the backdrop of 1984 riots. Now, Diljit himself has confirmed the news and also gave details of the film.

Talking to Mumbai Mirror, he said a yes when asked about Ali Abbas Zafar's film and also added that the shoot of the film will start as soon as the restrictions due to the Coronavirus pandemic are removed. He said, “Yes, I am really looking forward to this film. Once lockdown restrictions are removed, we will decide on the dates.” Ali Abbas Zafar would go for a start to finish schedule for the film and it might go on floors next year! Well, it would be super interesting to see Ali and Diljit collaborate!

Diljit also talked about Suraj Me Mangal Bhari, his upcoming film whose shoot was wrapped just days before the lockdown was announced. Talking about his co-stars from the film, Manoj Bajpayee and Fatima Sana Shaikh, he said, “Both are great co-stars, it was a wonderful team and we all bonded well on the set.”

We are looking forward to watch Diljit even more on the screen after the lockdown now.
