    An action-packed and modern-day re-telling of this lesser-known character from Mahabharata, the film is going to be pretty massive in terms of production. Dhar informed that he will soon be leaving for the US for six months to conduct recce and meet people of VFX studios as the entire VFX of the film will be done in the US. He also mentioned that the film will go on the floor in mid-2020 and would be extensively shot in exotic locations like New Zealand, Namibia, Greenland, and Tokyo where they will collaborate with the crew from all over the world.

    For the uninitiated, Ashwatthama is the son of Guru Dronacharya and Kripi in Mahabharata. He was born with a gem on his forehead that gave him power over all living things below humans and was blessed with immortality till the end of Kali Yug.  He fought with the Kauravas against the Pandavas in the battle of Kurukshetra.
