Director Ali Abbas Zafar Spills The Beans On Imran Khan’s Debut Directorial

Ali Abbas Zafar is all geared up for the release of his new film Bharat that stars Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Disha Patani. Abbas who is more than ecstatic to work with Salman Khan in almost all his films back to back had humbler beginnings.

Zafar who also worked with actor Imran Khan in the romantic comedy, Mere Borther Ki Dulhan also opened up a lot of the actor who is barely to be seen onscreen nowadays.  Abbas revealed that Imran Khan never wanted to be an actor. Quipped he, “Imran always wanted to be a writer and director.”

Point worth noting here is, in an old media interaction, Imran himself revealed that since he was a film student he had an inclination towards writing and directing but then it was too much of a task for him.

On the other hand Abbas revealed that Imran is already been working on his script. “Imran is already working on his script and he would also be directing the film. The film will be produced by actor Aamir Khan.” He disclosed!

Well, whatever be the case, it is indeed a good jump for Imran, now that he has almost given up acting, the fact that he is steering towards direction is a wise decision for sure.
