Dostana 2 Is Finally Happening And These Actors Might Be A Part Of It

Back in 2008 when Priyanka Chopra, John Abraham, and Abhishek Bachchan starrer Dostana hit our screens it looked liked the coolest film ever. Whether it was the humorous way in which homosexuality was addressed in a mainstream Hindi was path-breaking for sure, but the music, the Miami background, the clothes and the ultimate coolness of the character made it a favorite among the masses.

It is for the same reason that the audience has been pestering Karan Johar for a remake or a sequel for a while now. While he took to Twitter to announce that some ideas are being developed, Dostana 2 has not been officially announced yet, but that does not mean that the speculations are not rife.

According to recent reports, Rajkummar Rao, Janhvi Kapoor, and John Abraham will be seen in the new film. It is still not clear if director Tarun Mansukhani, who directed the 2008 film will helm the second one or not.

Interestingly, it was initially being speculated that Sidhharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt were being cast for the film, but everyone has been fairly tight-lipped about it. Also, if Janhvi and Rajkummar pair up for the film it will be their second collaboration after Rooh Afza and we think it would be a ton of fun to see John Abraham in the film as he was in the original film as well.
