Dr. Suzanne Walker's Statement Suggests Sushant Singh Rajput Had Bipolar Disorder Since 20 Years, Wasn't Ready To Accept It

Sushant Singh Rajput’s family have ditched the depression theory but the various psychiatrists that the actor apparently consulted for his mental illness have something entirely different to say. Dr Suzanne Walker who was one of the doctors treating Sushant for bipolar disorder recorded her statement with the Mumbai Police on July 16 and it has now been accessed.

She told the officials in her statement that she was first contacted by Shruti Modi in October reaching out for an appointment for Suhsant which she later cancelled and then was written to by Rhea Chakraborty in November and she met the actor at her clinic on November 7.

India Today quotes the doctor from her police statement as saying, “In this session, I came to the following conclusions: His anxiety had increased since the last 10 days and it would not reduce even after taking medicine. Taking a scale of 1 to 10 for anxiety, his mental condition had reached 9.”

She also determined that Sushant’s anxiety had increased a lot between 2013 and 2014. “His speech and behaviour were completely irrelevant and very fast. On that, I was sure that Sushant Singh Rajput is suffering from bipolar disorder,” she deduced.

She said that Sushant was suffering from the disease for about 20 years and the actor had admitted he had symptoms since he was young and the severity of those symptoms kept increasing.

After a second reference in the case and perceptions Sushant never showed up for appointments. Suzanne learnt from a text received from Rhea that the medicines were working and he was doing fine. The doctor said that Sushant was aware of his diagnosis but wasn’t ready to accept it. He wanted to recover quickly but it wasn’t possible.

Talking about June 2020 Dr. Walker said that she received a text from Rhea on June 7 to book an appointment for herself. The actress failed to turn up and texted her that Sushant had stopped taking his medicines and his condition had gotten worse. She informed that the actor’s family would be visiting and therefore she can’t make it for her appointment.
