Dream Girl Director Raaj Shaandilyaa Tests Positive For Coronavirus, Has Been Home Quarantined

The coronavirus pandemic has forced us to be in a situation that none of us even imagined might be possible. The novel virus is extremely contagious and people were forced to be locked at their homes to stop the spread. While it did not help much in India, now the nation has been seeing a surge in the cases after public places and transport have begun to open up and work has partially resumed. Many BTown celebs had also contracted the virus. After news of Raftaar testing positive for COVID-19, we are getting to hear that Raaj Shaandilyaa, who wrote and directed Dream Girl, has also tested positive.

He confirmed the news to TOI and said that he has indeed tested positive, adding that he has quarantined himself at home. He said, "It all began 7 days back when I developed fever that did not go down. Finally, I got myself tested for Coronavirus."

The writer was supposed to work with Ekta Kapoor for her new film, KTina, which would star Disha Patani in the lead. He had also been writing another massy commercial film with social message for Ayushmann Khurrana. We are praying for his speedy recovery.
