Ek Villain 2: A Super Excited Disha Patani Shares Pictures Of Her Warm Welcome To The 'Villain Gang'

Disha Patani has had a fantastic start to 2020 with her film Malang becoming a big box office success. The actress is now ready to reunite with the Malang troop once again as she has been confirmed as the leading lady in Mohit Suri’s Ek Villain 2.

The actress got a warm welcome from the Ek Villain 2 team with a whole bouquet of flowers from Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures. The whole arrangement in a way is reminiscent of the original Ek Villain with the smiley decorations. In the film Riteish Deshmukh who plays the villain, the film would hide his face behind a smiley mask.

Disha even shared a picture of the note welcoming her to the ‘villain gang’ which also includes Aditya Roy Kapur and John Abraham. While rumours of her signing on for the film have doing the rounds since Malang released, director Mohit Suri just a few days ago confirmed the news to Mumbai Mirror, "Disha is the first heroine who walked up to me and said, ‘I want to do more action, beat up people, perform stunts… kick some butt. Just the way boys do it in your films. I want to be the hero’. That’s when I asked her if she would do the Ek Villain sequel and she was game" he told the publication.

Disha Patani has been paired opposite John Abraham in the film unlike Malang where she was seen romancing Aditya Roy Kapur. Ek Villain 2 goes on floors soon and is scheduled for 8 January 2021 for release.
