Ek Villain 2: Aditya Roy Kapur Not A Part Of This Mohit Suri Film Anymore? Read Details

Back in 2019, it had been announced that Aditya Roy Kapur had been roped in as the lead of Mohit Suri's Ek Villain 2. The two had teamed up for several films and their last outing, Malang was successful and turned out to be a hit. But if recent reports are to go by, then Aditya is no longer a part of the project!

According to a report in Pinkvilla, Aditya seems to have dropped out of the film. A source close to the movie was quoted saying, "When Aditya was offered the part, he was extremely kicked about his role and the way Mohit has mounted the action set pieces in the film. It's even bigger than the way he devised the same for Malang. But in the last few weeks, Mohit and Adi were continuously having creative differences on the script and his role. There was a mutual decision taken by both of them where they finally decided to go ahead with the film, without Adi. There's no bad blood between the two. They both share a great relationship and parted ways on this film on an amicable note."

The report also mentions that Aditya Roy Kapur has another project with a big production house and the lockdown has caused him to reshuffle his dates. No official announcement has been made about it yet. It had also been reported earlier that John Abraham would be a part of Ek Villain 2. Aditya has two  upcoming films- Ludo and Sadak 2.
