Ek Villain Returns: Shoot Of Arjun Kapoor, John Abraham, Disha Patani And Tara Sutaria Starrer Begins

Reports about Ek Villain sequel, which has been titled Ek Villain Returns, have been doing the rounds for quite some time now. The Mohit Suri film had gathered the Malang's cast- Disha Patani and Aditya Roy Kapur at the beginning and added John Abraham and Tara Sutaria in it. However, Aditya Roy Kapur backed out of the project and it became Arjun Kapoor's gain as he was signed as the new face of the film. Now, the shoot of the film commenced in Mumbai.

The Mahurat of the film was held in Bandra's G7 Multiplex. John Abraham and Disha Patani was present, along with director Mohit Suri and producer Bhushan Kumar, while Arjun Kapoor and Tara Sutaria were not seen at the event. Check out the pictures from the Mahurat here:

Ek Villain Returns would be the sequel of Mohit Suri's Ek Villain that starred Sidharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead, and Riteish Deshmukh playing the menacing antagonist. Earlier this month, the release date of the film was revealed and it would hit theatres on 11th February 2022. Speaking about the film, Mohit Suri had earlier said, "Ek Villain was my passion project and a labour of love. The kind of love that I still receive for 'Ek Villain' overwhelms me. I am sure with 'Ek Villain Returns', the love is only going to grow bigger. And while I cannot reveal much about the film, I can assure that it is going to be a thrilling rollercoaster ride."
